Morning comes to the salt flats of the Badwater basin. Badwater is the lowest place in the US at 280 feet below sea level. This was a fact, that I couldn’t quite get over while I was there. For example, if the Badwater basin was to fill up with water to sea level, you could not scuba dive to the bottom with the training afforded to the typical recreational diver.
